Product Warranty

Legg Company, Inc. warrants that all new, unused products are free from defects in material or workmanship, when properly installed and used for the purpose intended, for the service life of the product.  The end of service life is defined by the belt no longer being able to move product.  Failure of mechanical lacing, or of vulcanized splicing is not viewed as failure of the belt, or grounds for the end of service life.

This warranty extends only to the original buyer of the product.  Warranty will be null and void for used products or products that have been repaired, altered, modified, subjected to misuse, negligence, accident or ordinary wear and tear.

Legg Company, Inc.’s obligation under this Warranty is limited to the repairing or, at it’s option, replacing the original product.  If after notification of the defect, Legg Company Inc. determines that the defect is repairable, all repair methods, procedures, personnel, and equipment must be approved by Legg Company Inc., and any and all charges will be estimated to Legg Company Inc. prior to repairs being implemented.  If a non-repairable problem occurs and Legg Company, Inc. determines it is a warranty replacement, the belt will be replaced with a pro rata charge for any service rendered.  This will be in the form of a credit to be applied toward a replacement belt from Legg Company Inc.

Legg Company, Inc. shall not be liable or responsible to supply or pay labor to replace any part found defective; nor shall it be liable for any damages of any kind or nature, to person, product, property, or lost production time; nor shall it be liable for any loss of profit, direct, indirect, special or consequential.

This warranty constitutes the entire and only warranty by Legg Company Inc. for the products as described.  This warranty may not be altered or modified by anyone other than Legg Company Inc.

Legg Company, Inc. products are sold without any express warranty except as set forth above.
